O.F.F (Operation Fit and Fine) Turns 5 Years Old!!!!
5 years ago today I added to The Love Movement’s legacy with a fitness movement, “O.F.F” which stands for Operation Fit and Fine. During the winter months #4SeasonsofAwesomeness uses O.F.F to help motivate others to embrace their health and fitness goals. However, we go O.F.F all year long, no matter if it’s in the gym, in the yoga studio, meditation sessions, etc. O.F.F has thankfully motivated Misfits and Healers all over the country and #4SOA has only helped to further the message. Below is some of my original post from 2011 describing O.F.F to everyone on social media. I hope some of you reading about it for the first time will join us. Much love to you all and never stop going O.F.F!!!!

(February 7th, 2011) Operation: Fit and Fine, also known as O.F.F is a fitness movement under “The Love Movement” and its purpose it to get everyone in shape physically, mentally and spiritually. One of the biggest components to The Love Movement is teaching people how to love themselves and O.F.F will do just that. The word “Fine” doesn’t just mean your looks. Not how pretty or handsome you are; it also means your health; your mental state and your spiritual state. I created this as another way to spread peace, this time through your entire being. I want us to work on taking care of our temples but also taking care of each other. O.F.F won’t work if we’re not helping each other day by day. Several of my Misfits friends have already jumped on board including Strongville resident, Ross Cooper aka Mosaic. I’m hoping that this can spread across the country. When I was doing my “Personal Trainer Days” I had Misfits in California working out because of what they saw me doing. That’s a blessing. I pray the same can come from this.
So you ask, how do I get started? It’s simple. For starters you can post a message/picture/video daily or as often as you like on some area of fitness/healing letting everyone know what you did. The same goes for dieting. What you’re eating could truly help someone else. Posting your journey or even a meal during the day can help others.
Example: “Go O.F.F. (Day 1) – Today I focused on working my chest and legs in the gym. It’s a slow process on the food side but I had salmon and a nice Caesar salad for dinner. This is the start of a great journey for me”
That’s just an eXample of something you can put as a social media post. I ask that you post these as often as possible and you’ll notice how it will keep YOU and others motivated to do more. We’re already planning outside events for the community as well as videos to give tips on healthy ways to eat and different work out plans. We’ll begin to cover the mental and spiritual sides soon. Let’s make a difference in our lives and each others lives. No matter who you are, your age, race, gender identity, weight, none of that matters. It’s time to make a positive change in your life……….
